Job Description
Are you ready to be a founding product leader and put a serious dent in the recruiting technology market?
We're a scrappy, bootstrapped startup of 7 passionate builders on a mission to redefine the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). We aren't just tweaking an old system; we're building the next-generation ATS solution from the ground up, focused on user experience, intelligent automation, and empowering recruiters and hiring managers. We've got the vision, the drive, and the early traction—now we need you to own the product. This is not a role where you'll be one of many. You will be the Product Manager, wearing multiple hats, setting the standard, and having a direct, measurable impact on our success.
At bloomie, our team is dedicated to fostering innovation and delivering impactful solutions that drive the company's success. We collaborate closely, leveraging diverse perspectives to tackle complex challenges and create exceptional outcomes.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Execution: Define, champion, and iterate on the product roadmap. You'll move seamlessly from high-level vision and strategy to writing detailed user stories, managing the backlog, and executing sprint planning.
Customer & Market Deep Dive: Be obsessed with our target users (recruiters, hiring managers, candidates). Conduct discovery interviews, analyze usage data, and constantly scan the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and validate our direction.
Build the SaaS Engine: Leverage your prior experience to define core SaaS metrics, ensure scalability, manage pricing/packaging, and optimize the overall customer lifecycle, from trial to retention.
Cross-Domain Champion: Aligning the engineering team on technical priorities, guiding the design team on UX, and—critically—leading the charge on the go-to-market strategy.
Extensive Marketing & Sales Enablement: Work directly with our founders to craft compelling positioning and messaging. You will provide sales materials, competitive battlecards, and thought leadership content to ensure our market launch is a success.
What You'll Bring
We need an experienced product builder who thrives in ambiguity and loves the intensity of a startup environment.
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of defining and shipping successful SaaS B2B products. Experience with HR Tech, Recruiting, or developer tooling is a huge plus.
Proven ability to champion Product across different domains (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales). You can speak the language of all teams and effectively translate customer needs into technical requirements and marketing materials.
A "Get Stuff Done" Mentality: You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for direction. You're comfortable owning the entire product lifecycle and making high-stakes decisions with limited resources.
Exceptional Communication: You can inspire a small, technical team with a clear vision and sell that vision externally through clear, persuasive marketing narratives.
Experience in a startup environment and a deep understanding of what it means to be bootstrapped—resourcefulness and efficiency are paramount.
